UPGRADE to the All New BSA Plus+ (version 5.0a)
If you're a registered user of BSA Pro version 4.9v1 or greater, you can get a special, one-time discount when you buy a new license for the all-new, completely re-written BSA Plus+ which runs under Vista 64.

UPGRADE DISCOUNT REQUIREMENTS: The discount requires that your order be in the name of the original registered user firm and you request the discount in the COMMENTS section of your order form. The discount amount depends on when you bought your license for BSA Pro version 4.9v1 or greater.

If you're registered for BSA Pro version 4.8 or less or if your firm's original license for BSA Pro was purchased more than 3 years ago and you meet the upgrade discount requirements, you'll get a one-time courtesy discount of $50 off the normal price.

If you need help determining your cost to upgrade to BSA Plus+, please complete the Support Form and tell us in the COMMENTS section which version of BSA Plus+ you're interested in.

Please note: If you buy a license for BSA Plus+, the upgrade includes a free program to convert your old billing data to the new format for BSA Plus+. Please note that bill formats will not convert. Within the last 6 months - If your firm purchased a license for BSA Pro within the last 6 months from the date we receive your valid new order for BSA Plus+, you will receive a credit of 100% of the amount you last paid for the BSA Pro license when you buy a new license for BSA Plus+ with the same features and you meet the upgrade discount requirements. For example, if you bought a license for BSA Pro Gold Edition with the networking option and paid $649.90 within 6 months of the date we receive your valid new order, your total cost to upgrade to BSA Plus+ Small Office with the networking option would be only $100. This is a huge 87% discount from the normal price of $749.90.

More than 6 months ago and within one year - If your firm was licensed for BSA Pro more than 6 months ago and within one year of the date we receive your valid new order for BSA Plus+ with the same features and you meet the upgrade discount requirements, you will receive a credit of 50% of the price you paid for the license for BSA Pro. For example, if you paid $300 for a license for BSA Pro Silver Edition within the last year from the date we receive your valid new order and you order BSA Plus+ Solo Edition, your total cost would be the normal cost ($399.95) LESS $150. That makes your final cost $249.95.

More than one year and within 3 years- If your firm was licensed for BSA Pro more than one year from the date we receive your valid new order for BSA Plus+ with the same features and you meet the upgrade discount requirements, you will receive a credit of 25% of the price you paid for the license for BSA Pro. For example, if you paid $300 for a license for BSA Pro Silver Edition more than one year from the date we receive your new order and you order BSA Plus+ Solo Edition, your total cost would be the normal cost ($399.95) LESS $75. That makes your final cost $324.95.

* Billing and Biller data converts to BSA Plus but old custom bill formats will not convert since this aspect of the program has been changed significantly to allow much more flexibility in creating custom bill formats. Also, if your old version of BSA Pro is older than 4.8, the automatic conversion program may not work. In that case, we will convert it for you manually.

The latest version of BSA Pro legal billing software is version 4.9v4 and runs under the 32 bit version of Microsoft's new operating system, Vista. It does not run under Vista 64. For 64 bit compatibility, order the all-new BSA Plus+ (see above). The latest version of BSA Pro includes:

1) Bulk Spell Check - Allows you to check all your billing and trust accounting descriptions for spelling errors before you finalize bills.
2) Access Restriction - Allows you restrict access to various parts of the program.
3) Search Utility - Allows you to search the database for information.
4) Batch Operations - Allows you to move, change or delete multiple billing entries at one time.

To get these and other new features, you can order an upgrade to the latest version. Registered users who are in compliance with the license agreement receive a special price discount. Please see below for Upgrade Details and email us if you have any questions.

UPGRADE DETAILS
If your firm is a registered user of BSA Pro, your firm will receive a discount off the normal price for a license for the latest version of the program. The discount depends upon when your firm originally ordered a license for BSA Pro:

Within the last 90 days - If your firm originally ordered a license for BSA Pro within 90 days of the date we receive your upgrade order, your firm can upgrade to the latest version of BSA Pro for only $19.95. We'll send you a new CD and software package with the latest version and instructions for upgrading.

More than 90 days ago and within one year - If your firm originally ordered a license for BSA Pro more than 90 days ago and within one year of the date we receive your upgrade order, your firm will receive a $150 discount on a license for the latest version of BSA Pro. We'll send a new CD and software package with the latest version and instructions for upgrading.

More than one year ago and within 3 years - If your firm originally ordered a license for BSA Pro more than one year ago and within 3 years of the date we receive your upgrade order, your firm will receive a $100 discount on a license for the latest version of BSA Pro. We'll send a new CD and software package with the latest version and instructions for upgrading.

More than 3 years ago and within 5 years - If your firm originally ordered a license for BSA Pro more than 3 years ago and within 5 years of the date we receive your upgrade order, your firm will receive a $50 discount on a license for the latest version of BSA Pro. We'll send a new CD and software package with the latest version and instructions for upgrading.

More than 5 years ago - If your firm originally ordered a license for BSA Pro more than 5 years ago, your firm will receive a $25 discount on a license for the latest version of BSA Pro. We'll send a new CD and software package with the latest version and instructions for upgrading.

HOW TO ORDER To purchase a license for the latest version of BSA Pro, go to the seaBILL Online Store and order a new program license and indicate in the COMMENTS section of the order form that you are a registered user who is upgrading. Include the registered user firm name. Your initial order confirmation will NOT include the discounts but we will adjust your order total before processing to reflect the correct charge.
If we cannot locate your registered user information we will contact you BEFORE we take any action.

UPDATE Options for BSA Pro Legal Billing Software Users (version 4.5 or greater)
Update options consist of adding more Biller Codes, Networking, PDA Link or the Quicken/QuickBooks Links to enhance or enable features that are already present in your existing program. There is nothing to download or install to add or enhance these options (again, Biller Codes, Networking, PDA or Quicken/QuickBooks Links). You simply place your order and include the serial number from your existing program. We'll process your order and send you a new password that will enable the new features you ordered.
Again, there is nothing to download/install with an update (unless you're moving the program to a different computer. If that's the case, please note that fact in the COMMENTS section of your order form).

ADDITIONAL BILLER CODES - Add more Biller Codes to BSA Pro Legal Billing Software.
Two Biller Code version (BSA Pro Silver Edition) can increase to 10 Biller Code version (Gold Edition) for only $99.95. Each additional 10 Biller Codes is $99.95.

DATA CORRUPTION REPAIR - If you have a CORRUPT DATABASE, you should have a back up system that allows you to recover.
If you don't have a good back up, you can delete your BSA Pro program, re-install it and re-enter your clients, matters and beginning balances to get started again.
It may also be possible for an expert to repair your data. seaBILL users pay only $200 Flat Fee. And, the charge is only assessed if the database is repaired with the data substantially intact!
