Port-a-Bill Plus Remote Time Billing Software - Legal billing software is specialized software that is especially designed for lawyers who normally bill for their services by the hour. This issue can be addressed by using a network where all the computers are linked together and have access to the database file at the same time. The way this issue is addressed in billing programs is by using a specially written program that can store the data entered on the 'remote' computer in such a way that it can later be integrated into the main database file without corrupting the data in the main database file. Without this care, the unique numbering system used internally by all database programs to refer to all the various pieces of data will be lost or confused and the database will become corrupted. As a result, BSA Plus+ and Port-a-Bill Plus have been written to handle the details of this delicate operation without any concern by the user.
